A policyholder hires a Public Adjuster to document and expedite their claim and to free themselves from the stress and burden of handling the claim themselves.
A few of the duties we handle are:
- Evaluate your existing insurance policies in order to determine what coverages may be applicable to your claim.
- Investigate and substantiate damages to your home or business property and your personal belongings or business property and all additional expenses.
- Research and determine costs or values for settling covered damages.
- Submit proper documentation to support the claim on behalf of the insured.
- Negotiate a proper settlement on behalf of the insured, with the insureds approval.
- If necessary, re-open your claim and negotiate for additional settlements either shorted or inaccurately denied by the insurance company.
- Evaluate and prepare business interruption losses and extra expense claims.
